Kate League-Weston, MA, LPC, RDT
I see my role as a therapist as someone who walks alongside you—listening to your story, helping you make sense of things, and figuring out how you fit into your world in a way that feels authentic and empowering. I earned my Master’s Degree from the California Institute of Integral Studies and I am both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Drama Therapist. That means I bring a mix of traditional talk therapy and creative, expressive tools to our sessions. Whether it’s through drama, art, music, movement—or whatever feels right for you—I love finding creative ways to support healing and growth. I’ve worked in all kinds of settings: schools, hospitals, homes, community centers, even theaters and holistic programs. Most of my experience has been with children, teens, and young adults, but I’m open to working with anyone curious about exploring therapy in a creative and meaningful way. My approach is trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and grounded in the belief that we all deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported. More than anything, I believe in the power of the arts to heal. Whether you’re navigating something tough or just looking to better understand yourself, I’d be honored to work with you. Let’s co-create something that feels like it’s truly yours.
I’m really looking forward to connecting!
