Child and Adolescent Therapist

We are hiring! Are you a dedicated Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Therapist who is looking to join a growing holistic mental health private practice in Rocky River? We would love to speak with you.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving the lives of young people through creative and evidence-based modalities. This position requires in-person availability at the Rocky River office on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. You also have the option to add in-person hours on Saturdays or Sundays, and/or conduct virtual sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The open position is for an Independent Contractor.

Counseling Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake assessments, and diagnose and treat mental health issues

  • Develop treatment goals collaboratively with clients

  • Assess for progress and modify treatment interventions as needed

  • Refer to specialists as needed

  • Maintain clinical documentation within 24 hours following sessions

  • Available at least two evenings per week until 7pm, and/or on Saturdays or Sundays to schedule appointments during non-school hours

Job Qualifications

  • LPC/LPCC, LSW/LISW, MFT/IMFT and current license in Ohio

  • Ability to form strong therapeutic relationships

  • Self-directed, with a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Multicultural awareness and sensitivity

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated sound clinical judgement

  • Ability to learn the Electronic Health Record
